Boganvillias~
My favoriteone of plant!
Easy to keep, just don't over water is what I've always been told.
They love hot weather too.
Well, I want some planted here at our new home and finding a sunny spot...not easy!
Not to worry, I'll find a spot for these showy, floriferous and hardy little plants.
These are photographs of some of mine from the past.
Come along for a short visit to a past post~
I miss my bougainvillea plants! They had a good place to shine, in full sunshine!

Oh my, they were showy, floriferous and hardy!
I'm missing their blooms and our old home!
I took these photographs while waiting for a storm!
Facts
- It’s not the flowers that make this plant so colourful, it’s actually the magenta bracts. The flowers are just tiny and white. Have a closer look!
- The bracts can be seen in all shades of pink and purple, and also red, yellow, white, salmon and orange.
- bract a leaf, a petal.
Have a glorious day!

They are beautiful! WOW! How many do you have? Hugs and blessings, Cindy

ReplyDeleteI love the bougainvillea..I have seen them in many different colors. I wish it could grow here in Maryland.. Lovely images. Have a happy day!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful and you WILL have some at your new home:) Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeletei grew them one summer here and loved them. sadly, they don't make it over winter. i tried bringing in a hibiscus thru the cold months and brought in bugs with it so i no longer attempt to bring in outdoor plants for the winter. :)
ReplyDeleteI love them too. I remember growing one when I lived up north. Yours were beautiful and love how you displayed them!
ReplyDeleteOf course we think alike! I am not surprised-
