Easter Sunday

This photograph is a treasure I cherish~
It's my father's family before he was born in 1922.
My Daddy's Grandfather is the man on the left.
They are beautifully dressed for a fine Easter Sunday!
Blessings to all on this wonderful Easter Weekend.

ReplyDeleteThey really knew how to dress, didn't they. Now we just throw on jeans and a tshirt. I also had a new Easter outfit that I wore to church with shoes, hat, purse and gloves, even when I was little. Miss the old times. Love the picture - they were a great looking family.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.

I miss the times when everyone dressed for for special occasions, don't all these ladies look grand! As I looked about in church this morning there were a lot of people, including women in jeans.

I like very old family photos and and always wondered why no one ever smiled and someone told me that long ago people would have bad or missing teeth and did not like to show a big smile.I like how it portrays the character of hard working families and it always looks like they have a lot of wisdom and stories to tell. Lovely photo!.
