Easter Sunday 1912

Easter Sunday
1912

 This photograph is a treasure I cherish~
It's my father's family before he was born in 1922.
My Daddy's Grandfather is the man on the left.

They are beautifully dressed for a fine Easter Sunday!

Blessings to all on this wonderful Easter Weekend.

  8. They really knew how to dress, didn't they. Now we just throw on jeans and a tshirt. I also had a new Easter outfit that I wore to church with shoes, hat, purse and gloves, even when I was little. Miss the old times. Love the picture - they were a great looking family.
    Happy Easter.

  11. What a lovely old photo of part of your family.

I've caught up on your latest posts. Do hope you have no more hospital visits. Enjoy your new home and the lovely woods that surround you, and living closer to kids and grands.

  12. I like very old family photos and and always wondered why no one ever smiled and someone told me that long ago people would have bad or missing teeth and did not like to show a big smile.I like how it portrays the character of hard working families and it always looks like they have a lot of wisdom and stories to tell. Lovely photo!.
