While I had some of my Vintage California Pottery pieces out for one of my last posts, decided to set a simple table setting and join in on some parties this week!
It's always fun, you'll see some great tablescapes and Vignettes, so come along too!
Okay, my "Vintage" Rooster...psst , and do you know what? I have always called my chicken a rooster! Poor thing is so confused since I call it a silly goose too! Shh...don't want our family chicken to hear this!
Yes, he is joining in too.
(I am having to be really nice, he's a bit put out with me right now, don't ask!)
Oh, his antics...

Oh, his antics...
My white dishes and placemats are from Williams Sonoma. The placemats are reversible, the other side is a great yellow pattern. My yellow napkins are from Bed, Bath and Beyond and our very used tableware is from Pottery Barn. Green glasses were my mother's glasses, I just love them!
This Ethan Allen table is the one our kids were raised on, I treasure it, wish it could talk, would have some great stories to tell.
I decided that I would use one other accent piece of my pottery. I know you know why~
Do you see my favorite old copper pot? I am using it as a centerpiece, filled with ivy!
There was so much glare, decided not to open all the blinds.
Sun went down and I should have turned the lights out...candle light would have been nice.
Oh, next time, I'll use my other special friend that is not so moody.
Hard to set a table when someone crabby is griping... the- entire- time.
He's so lucky I like him
Have a great week!
I'm joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday
and
Thursday
at Susan's at Between Naps on The Porch
and
at Vintage Thingy Thursday
Join in on the fun!

"Hi Nancy"... I LOVE this AND "What a VIEW you have"!!!WOW!!! I love the colors and of course tell "Chickie he's adorable"!!! The placemats and the chicken are giving you a "Frenchie Feel", LOVE that! Your Moms grasses are wonderful, AND all those memories with your table set too... I have a similar table and we would always slide it in and out from the wall when we would eat supper, WELL, one day the legs gave out(I know I JUST HAD TO tighten them AND DIDN'T)... ALL MY DISHES ended up on the floor and "BROKE" into thousands of pieces, Yes the food was there too... POSITIVE ending, "We ate out", hehe... I had to share that because my table looks like yours, Hugs, Donna
