What a great pic for your Christmas Card! Looks like everyone had a good time! What's not to like about the beach? I love it. My sister lives in TX and misses it here so much! She comes back for her beach fix a few times a year .

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a wonderful time. I am struck by what a beautiful family you have-one and all. How wonderful that your hubby has fought his way back to normalcy..that doesn't often happen after a stroke. It takes hard work, determination and a lot of rehabilitation. I'm sure you were a big part of his healing process.

ReplyDeleteThose are such beautiful pictures. I especially love the ones of the grands. Looks like everyone had a great time! It is funny how kids love the sand, but some are terrified at the sound and vastness of the waves and ocean. My granddaughter was a bit timid of the water the last time she was here and yet at a younger age you had to keep her from going to deep. My grandson just keep running towards it too. Actually they haven't been to the beach this summer......we have all been too busy. I don't like going in the actually hot months because of the traffic from my house to the beach. I like going in September after labor day and on through winter and spring.

ReplyDeleteWhen all our grands were small, we took family vacations to the beach every year, too. So much fun...they are all grown (well, almost) and we haven't been back to the beach in awhile. We all went on a family cruise a couple years ago and it was A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
WIll remember it the rest of my life..:))
