Butterflies, Bugs and Blooms~

I hope everyone had a glorious Mother's Day!

Well, I woke up this morning at the thought of a fresh new day, one more Monday! I do enjoy a good Monday morning with perhaps something exciting about to occur around the corner. I know a walk around the park with my camera is in store. Perhaps, a contract on our house. Humm, maybe I'll have a day of healthy eating and stay within my stupid point range. I'll not be too much of a scardy cat when I get my first chemo injection today. Eekkk. Oh and maybe our garage door repair man will get here early enough and fix the opening so that we can get in our attic. We need in that attic to check the cables, our cable keeps going in and out, horrors! I'm typing as fast as I can now, it could go out any second!

I'll showcase some sweet photos soon of our granddaughter's dance recital we went to on Saturday, she was such a great little ballerina and jazz dancer, be still my heart. I did not stop smiling the entire show. Oh my heavens, did I tell you all how adorable she is? Do you ever feel a bit embarrassed when you holler a bit too loud? Oh, please don't sit next to me at our grandson's football game? Yikes...I get a little bit tooo excited. Yes, and along with other grandparents. We are all alike, we are sitting up there with our buttons bursting off our shirts! Right? I know you get it.

So, I'm going to spring on some butterflies and flowers today, no bugs. Just threw that in there!

These butterfly shots were from a day at the zoo and they have a butterfly exhibit, quite fun trying to catch them on camera!

Love their markings~

Since I was up early, did some framing of some of my flower photographs. I really do enjoy framing, it's just fun, with a click of a mouse, instant gratification!

Wondrous and Full of Beauty~

I'm always fascinated with my friend Tex's blog called the Run Around Ranch Report.

Her photographs of wildlife are truly stunning!

I'm thrilled to be joining her "Good Fences" Party this evening and am proud to show off my photograph that was taking barreling down the road on a road trip with my husband.

We enjoy road trips and we enjoy flying too, I should just say, we just love to travel.

Well, we left Texas and headed west through New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and back through New Mexico and then back to our home state of Texas.

Our trip was, as all of our road trips are, fun and fast! Well, it seems fast since I take pictures while we are barreling down the road! Kid you not! The photograph above was one of those! Out the window!
I'm so proud to have this shot-

Wondrous and Full of Beauty~
Indeed!

Are these horses not gorgeous?
And that fence, I think it's awesome!

This photograph was taken in the remarkable and phenomenal Zion National Park in the beautiful state of Utah~

Limoge Chocolate Pot~

Can I say it fast enough and loud enough??

Look at my absolutely gorgeous hand painted HAVILAND LIMOGES FRENCH Chocolate Pot!!

Isn't it stunning, enchanting and just exquisite?

I just fell in love when I laid eyes on this stunning Limoges piece. It could be used as a coffee pot, chocolate pot or Tea Pot.

I almost stumbled over the others when I saw it, I mean, I could not get my hands on it fast enough! Oh heavens, I was not one bit pushy, they had no idea that it had to be mine! I was calm, cool and very collected. Oh dear, I was truly taken away with it's breathtaking floral art design! The sweet pink, burgandy and yellow roses and all nestled in beautiful greenery, what was not to love? Oh my goodness, I just pictured it sitting in my home somewhere. I just know that the handle pure gold, pure elegance.  As you can see by the pictures, the roses are very delicate and the colors very soft and truly captivating.

My new Chocolate Pot was made by the Haviland France Co. It's one of my treasures I purchased when I went to the Round Top Antique Show early in April.  I'm tickled with it, to say the least!

Well, sweet friends, I'm delighted that you dropped in to see my "pretty!"  Thank you so very much, made my day~

Hope you all have a happy and fun day!

I'll be joining these friends, I'm always up for a party~

Dark Thirty~

Good Morning!

Well, it's Dark Thirty and I'm up having my coffee. I'm really thinking I'll head outside in a bit and catch a sunrise shot. Hope I don't miss it, I'll plan on it and before I know it, it's up and no pictures. Think I'll just set my alarm. What would I do without my iphone alarm? Do you all use it often? I'm always setting alarms and making lists!

I'll show you a couple of collages I just worked on. When I get up early, it's play time. Nothing else. Coffee and camera and reading blogs.

This little guy is trying to hide from me! He's like, hey will you just leave me alone!

My favorite is the red hibiscus.
Yours?

Here's my daddy. He left for heaven 5 years ago on April 30th.
I was his only daughter. He was my knight in shining armor. My three brothers and I were blessed. He was a grand man, he loved us and we knew it. He practiced law until he was in his mid 80's.
He was a rancher all of his life.
I miss him so much.
I know he's watching down from his window in heaven - smiling that special smile.

Had a great weekend, it was pretty low key, well, a few moments were not so much!

NO offers. We did get a little shock around 10:30 Saturday morning. I had one of those dark thirty morning wake ups and I was taking a teeny tiny nap in Mr. Notes easy chair when I heard the jingle of the front door lock, oh my gosh! I was up and running to the front door as a, get this, a Realtor walks in with a buyer! Gasp!! That's a sweet way of putting it. Thank goodness, I was planning on someone seeing the house, I just was. Of course someone has a plan on seeing our house! Well, the kind and embarrassed Realtor was mortified that I didn't get the text alerting me of the showing. Ha, she was mortified? I was too! I did show some restraint, I was totally cool and calm. I told them to head out to the pool area while I literally shouted at and at the top of my lungs to Mr. Notes that we had someone here to see the house. He's not one bit quick acting...sigh. *&%$#  So I ran into our bedroom where he was sitting and was watching TV. Not even a bolt of lighting will get this man moving fast enough! By the time he was finally in the kitchen walking towards our garage door, the buyer and Realtor were in the kitchen looking around. Lo and behold, a chance for Mr. Notes to start selling! OH dear Lord help me. He's telling the man all about the new Wolf appliances, the upgrades, the new sink, he was going on and on...I was like, lets go dear. Then I find myself lightly slapping the buyer's shoulder, telling him, mind you, "you'll love the house!" Now, oh my, good grief, why did I do that?? Crazed moment!

We had quite a number of cars drive by and stop. Why is it that I'm lurking out the windows always checking to see what color, make and model number their car is and how old they are? I then follow the car around while going from window to window. Crazed again. This selling of a home is driving me silly. If I have to tell my dear sweetheart of a husband to put his toothbrush and mouthwash away again, I'm going to whack him upside the haid! I mean really, that is the only thing he has to do.

Sunday afternoon our daughter and grands came over. You know that an 8,6 and 4 year old love baking cookies, right? Well, they were key lime pie flavored and have to say, mighty tasty. Have you played the game Sorry with and 8, 6, and 4 year old? New meaning to sibling rivalry. I asked them to stay for dinner and son in law joined us after his golf game. We had Macaroni Grill's yummy Chicken Alfredo along with a Caesar Salad. Yep, I made it easy, ordered in. It was delicious.

Oh my gosh, did I tell you all that I started Jenny Craig? Shh, I've read we don't talk dieting in blogland. Well, I've only been on it a couple of weeks, trying to lose some of the weight I've gained since the November treatments started. You know this prednisone gig makes me have an appetite that would only be had by one that had just plowed the north forty! OMG. I'm famished all the time. So, I'll take care of that, just get some planned meals, right? Well, it's working, but not fast enough for me. My cheeks are mighty full looking. Don't ask!

Well, goodness, it's still just 6:13. Think I'll have another cup of coffee. I just love my Keurig! I love the choices of coffee I have. It's the little things, right?

Well, I hope you all have a delightful Monday and week~ xo
