I hope everyone had a glorious Mother's Day!
Well, I woke up this morning at the thought of a fresh new day, one more Monday! I do enjoy a good Monday morning with perhaps something exciting about to occur around the corner. I know a walk around the park with my camera is in store. Perhaps, a contract on our house. Humm, maybe I'll have a day of healthy eating and stay within my stupid point range. I'll not be too much of a scardy cat when I get my first chemo injection today. Eekkk. Oh and maybe our garage door repair man will get here early enough and fix the opening so that we can get in our attic. We need in that attic to check the cables, our cable keeps going in and out, horrors! I'm typing as fast as I can now, it could go out any second!
I'll showcase some sweet photos soon of our granddaughter's dance recital we went to on Saturday, she was such a great little ballerina and jazz dancer, be still my heart. I did not stop smiling the entire show. Oh my heavens, did I tell you all how adorable she is? Do you ever feel a bit embarrassed when you holler a bit too loud? Oh, please don't sit next to me at our grandson's football game? Yikes...I get a little bit tooo excited. Yes, and along with other grandparents. We are all alike, we are sitting up there with our buttons bursting off our shirts! Right? I know you get it.
So, I'm going to spring on some butterflies and flowers today, no bugs. Just threw that in there!
These butterfly shots were from a day at the zoo and they have a butterfly exhibit, quite fun trying to catch them on camera!
Love their markings~
Since I was up early, did some framing of some of my flower photographs. I really do enjoy framing, it's just fun, with a click of a mouse, instant gratification!
Do you have a favorite?

Well, it was a great Mother's Day... quiet but good:) I love your flowers, I am in love with hibiscus these days! I will pray for you as you get your injection! AND will keep the prayers flowing that you get that contract on the house:) Enjoy your day dear friend, BIG HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI can usually spot the grandparents . . . cameras catching every single moment!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous framed flowers . . .
First chemo shot today . . . well I have you in my sight . . . all day! Keep that in mind!
Yes, I totally get the excitement of a grandparent. :-) Enjoyed the flowers. I always love impatiens, for they take so little effort and are so delicately pretty. Also, is that a hibiscus or a poppy that I'm liking in the photos? Both are beautiful flowers! Thoughts and prayers are with you during your first chemo today.
ReplyDeletePraying for you with the shot! OUCH...I don't like shots either. Love the flowers and the butterflies. And speaking of the granddaughter....well, I can't wait to see pictures of the recital. Something about those grands that make the ole heart do a pitter patter. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Dear Nancy, remember you are not required to be upbeat every day. I have bad days too (my therapist just stretched my arm so far I took a pain pill). I shall pray that this injection works. That hibiscus is gorgeous. love, Olive
ReplyDeleteSpectacular photos, Nancy! I don't think one can brag on their children or grandchildren too much...family is their best fan club!!
