I was at the right place at the right time, and thank goodness I had my camera! I am not quite sure, but I think they are ducks!
If you know what they are, please chime in and let me know!
Did you know that ducks can fly around for eight hours?
Since they have tiny wings, they must flap their wings fast!
About 10 times per second!
Have a great weekend, friends!

Beautiful and yes they look like ducks to me. I love seeing them fly, great pictures. Enjoy the lake, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to tell but I think they are ducks, too!
ReplyDeleteAs I like birding as an obsession...Their bill and the fact that some are swimming lower in the water than ducks do, & take-off (wing shape) and the snake like necks...I'd say they are cormorants.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying again to comment here -- just in case I didn't hit send! And yes, those are ducks, I think.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what they are but there sure were a lot of them.
ReplyDeleteWhat great pics you captured. If they are in the duck family they are very unique.
ReplyDeleteI can see that you enjoy wildlife too. Love seeing any kind of wildlife anywhere, but particularly in our back yard. Recently we were away to a beach house and we had 2 wildlife showings that shocked us, one a black snake (we saw him 4 times) and the other the last evening we were therea brown bunny............lol We just never expected that..........lol Thank you for coming by and commenting on my past Father's Day tablescape. It was appreciated.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, nellie
What a lovely sight you saw. Wow, I can't believe they can fly for that long. Sturdy birds with perseverance. As I'm writing this, I see a Robin in my front yard. : )
ReplyDeleteI hope you have good June days, Nancy.
