Little Glitch-

Hello friends!

I was set to blog about our vacation to Anna Maria Island in Florida, which was fantastic, but I’m under the weather.

I’ve had this nagging cough way too long. It could be my Vasculitis and Wegeners flaring up. For now, a
Bronchoscopy set up for next week.

I’ll be back when I’m better, dear friends. XO

Love This! Your opinion, please!

Good morning!

I do love this shot I got of this beautiful cardinal!
I dressed him up and framed him!

have heard and read that spotting a cheerful red cardinal means that a family member or friend is safe and happy, even if they are far away!

That never resonated with me until after Mke passed away!

What do I do now when I see one?
Oh my, I'm so excited and start blabbering away! I miss talking to him so much! I know anyone within hearing distance knows that crazy lady is talking to herself again!

Do I feel crazy talking to a bird?
Yes!! But, I just keep taking it away! He knows me well!

What are your thoughts when you see a cardinal?

Simple Pleasures~

Happy Saturday to all!

I woke up this morning and I was so excited about blogging again! Oh, the simple pleasures!

Okay, the post today seriously did not take much brain use at all, but it did make my heart happy! Finding happy things to fill my days is something I work hard on since my dear Mike has been gone. A year and a half, it still hard living without him. Our 37 years together, as you know you get use to them being your right arm!

Anyhow, I love looking through photographs and making collages. So, you might find a lot of collages in my posts!

Oh, and then I found out there's a Pink Saturday is Blogland! Yes!! A clear signal of where I was headed! So, I'm going to try and figure out how to link my post to that fun party!

Yes, I decided to join in on the fun and it's the little things that make such a big difference in life, right?

Join in on the fun!

In Flight!

Good morning!

I was at the right place at the right time, and thank goodness I had my camera! I am not quite sure, but I think they are ducks!
If you know what they are, please chime in and let me know!

Did you know that ducks can fly around for eight hours?
Since they have tiny wings, they must flap their wings fast!
About 10 times per second!

Have a great weekend, friends!

Heartbreak in Uvalde

My heart is broken for the families suffering unimaginable heartbreak in Uvalde, Texas.

Yesterday I removed my post that was such a happy post about my lakehouse. I had just put it up and I felt I needed to remove it for a while. I just can't focus on comments and blogging right now. Lifting up in prayer the children and families in Uvalde, Texas.

Back to much-needed resting after yesterday's infusion treatment.

Take care, my friends.

Sitting on the front porch is a wonderful past time.
Yes, looking out there for the pet deer and critters moving around!

Nothing like driving around looking for the horses.
Kids love to take sacks of apples out to the ranch to feed the horses. The horses just chomp them up!

Fishing is the best fun!

Nice dad!

Hot dogs on the pit!
Picnics at the ranch are the best!

Are they ready it?

Cows like to walk up and see what's going on!
