What is a fun and interesting fact about you not many know?
I was in 4-H and raised Grand Champion chickens!
What is your all time favorite menu for guests?
I stick to easy! Steaks, baked potatoes, caesar salad and dessert.
Where is your favorite place to shop? Or places?
Home Store, Steinmart, Dillards, Trader Joe's, Pier One, Chico's and Ace Hardware and any store that strikes my fancy! Lately during pandemic, it is basically, Amazon.
Do you have a hobby or hobbies?
Knitting, gardening, vintage and antique cup saucer and plate collecting, decoupage and shopping! My most favorite, I use to be an avid golfer until my husband had a stroke and could not play anymore.
Can you still ride a bike?
Yes.
Name something you did as a kid and you would never do now?
Walk around our neighborhood with two friends all dressed up in vintage gowns and hats and heels! We were a hoot!
What is your all time favorite movie?
Yes, The Sound of Music!
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Humm....any drive thru and get ice cream!
Do you put on make up every day?
No. I'm slipping!
Wondering, do you have a lucky number?
Yes, 9.
What is your favorite daily outfit?
Leggings, capri jeans and a comfy top and flip flops.
Is there a chore that should be done that you just keep putting off?
Cleaning out the garage! :(

My favorite hobby - I love landscape photography and make my own greeting cards with the pictures I take.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite movie is Apollo 13. I've seen it so many times, I love the relationship between Jim and Marilyn Lovell, I like the lingo of space flight and I would say it has the all-time best celebration scene when the astronauts finally splash down!
I wear make-up every day. It's rare when I don't have to go out anywhere and can just stay home make-up free!

DeleteMy favorite place to shop is Home Goods and TJ Maxx. Love the little shops that I frequent too. I can still ride a bike and do. I have so many movies I love but probably Steel Magnolias or Anchorman would be in the top. I usually do not wear Makeup in the summer maybe a little mascara. My fave number is 2 and my favorite outfit is my capri jeans and a summer top. For a chore I put off I need to clean out my linen closet. I don't remember a bloggertte Society I must have missed that. Happy Sunday. Hugs. Kris

I also love to shop in Home Goods and World Market. I am at the age where I am trying hard not to accumulate more "stuff" but I enjoy fine foods from around the country and the world and both those stores offer those selections.

I favor jeans and in winter I love cardigan sweaters
I usually wear some makeup but because of now wearing a mask out I don't bother with it as much.
My main hobbies are gardening and reading and photography.yes I still tide a bike and enjoy it

ReplyDeleteI would not say it is/was an actual fun fact but I was second in my graduating class. I have no idea how cause now I cannot remember anything. So, I don't know how I passed anything.
What is your all time favorite menu for guests?
I would say hamburgers, or steaks. Either one is delicious as long as they are cooked on a grill.
Where is your favorite place to shop? Or places?
Quilt shops, of course, and I love Amazon. I like to look in Hobby Lobby and Joann's, too.
Do you have a hobby or hobbies?
Quilting, photography, reading, fishing. I actually feel naked if I don't have a book that I am reading. My husband had a stroke in 2016...sure changed life for us.

Yes.
Name something you did as a kid and you would never do now?
Oh, some of the climbing I used to do. In the barn. It is hard to explain...but I had no fear. and now I really cannot take heights...back then and until into my forties, heights did not bother me.

I love Steel Magnolias, too. And there are more but I can't think what they are at this present moment.

chocolate and ice cream.

Oh my, I did not know your husband had a stroke too. My husband has had three. First two when he was 56. Did change our lives drastically too. How wonderful that you quilt! Would love to see photos of some! Thank you for your visit!

ReplyDelete1) I was a bookworm and rarely played with the kids, just hung out in my room with books!
2) No tried and true, I experiment with guests.
3) I love Home Depot, especially the smell of wood. I often thought of applying for a job there!
4) My hobby would be cooking
5) I think I can, just scared lately because of my hearing loss and not able to hear cars from behind.
6) Make tents in the backyard and sleep out there at night with girlfriends!

DeleteWell, I start with corn tortillas and fry them up in a pan with oil. I sprinkle grated cheese on them when they're done, add ground beef with seasoning, tomatoes, avocados, and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. They're delicious. You'd love them, Nancy.

2: Grilled chicken, green beans, salad, bread and cookies/brownies.
3: TJ Maxx, Ross, Hobby Lobby and like you AMAZON latley.
4: I love photography but do not piddle with it like I used too. I love to read. I love teaching women in Bible Study but I think that is a calling for me and not a hobby. At one time I had more hobbies than I needed but seems like I just sorta piddle now here and there.
