It's been a very long time since I've blogged about the ranch and just some how or another it came to mind! So if you are into country and ranch life, join me for some fun times!

Nothing like driving around looking for the horses.Kids love to take sacks of apples out to the ranch to feed the horses. The horses just chomp them up!

She was having the back patio put in. She was a take charge lady! Yes, she was!

DeleteLooks like you have a great fun family and ranch. I grew up on a farm in Ohio and loved the wide open spaces and all the animals. Your grandkids are cuties! And the cows are adorable, we had nosy ones too, and the horses are great. Your grandkids must love it there on the ranch. I'm trying to figure out what neck of the woods you live in... Good post, I enjoyed reading it and enjoyed the photos too!

DeleteNancy, this was a post dear to my heart. I had a similar experience at Grandpa and Grandma's ranch. Your kids and grandkids are so lucky. These are memories that they will never forget no matter how far they go in life. Sad that you didn't get to see your grandson graduate from college. As a grandmother, that was the most wonderful experience. Please put up your folk's dress up pics. I have such great ones of my mom and day too and I love to relive them all. We both sound lucky to have had this in our lives..Stay well..xxoJudy

DeleteWhat a fun time everyone is having at the ranch! Yes, I love the country, and one of my favorite things to do is take a drive out in the countryside. Your kids looks like they are having a great time, and all the photos of the horses and cows and goats are wonderful. Love that fire pit too. How cozy that would be to sit around the fire and roast marshmallows with all the family. The pictures of your mom and dad are treasures. Thanks for sharing these photos, Nancy. They're awesome!

DeleteI would love being out on the ranch too! We have lots of horses here and I love driving out and taking pics of them. It took me a long time to call them horse farms though. I lived in TX so long....ranches is what I call them. Love the family photos. What great memories everyone makes at the ranch!

ReplyDeleteI so loved it all. Horses, fishing, cattle, target shooting, picnics, reading, BBQs, (father & son (drinking beer by the campfire?)). A lovely (and loving) family album of dear sweet memories of your days gone by. Oh, ya...and not to forget those boots!
