Our Trip to Telluride, Colorado!
Oh my, the beauty of this old town is just incredible!
Telluride, Colorado
went from a mining town to a world-class ski resort
and is now the festival capital of the west.
What a wonderful, beautiful and charming place with such a rich history!
We had such a wonderful time and if you've never been,
put it on your bucket list now!

ReplyDeleteThis is my kind of town! Very lovely views, every photo.
ReplyDeleteToo funny, I showed these lovely photos to my hubby and I said guess where this is? He didn't have a clue, I said Colorado, still no clue, then I said, Telluride, and he said yes, I've flown into their before (with his Flight Simulator) it's a tiny little airport up in the mountains where there's a resort too! Now I know I have to check this place out!
ReplyDeleteHello Nancy, it is a beautiful town. I love all the pretty flowers and the mountain views. Great fence captures and lovely series of images. Thanks for sharing your visit! Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI love those little mountain towns in Colorado! Beautiful and such a fun place to visit, I bet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and I will put that on my bucket list:) Have a blessed day dear Nancy, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful town, love all the flowers.
ReplyDeleteBeing a mountain lover, I have been there and it never gets old to me, to see the beauty. Thanks for the memory trip through your pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it is delightful. But bitter-sweet too. Because it must have gone the way, that Aspen did. And the way, that my beautiful Victorian city has.... There is a term for it.. "Aspen-ization"
ReplyDelete.
At one time, all these places, were where children of local folks, could be sure of having a home, and living there. But now days, these places have been "invaded" by the "rich and beautiful," and locals can not afford to live there, any more.
.
Just sayin' that there is a not-nice-side, to these beeeeautiful places. Which visitors don't know.
Tessa
how pretty and quaint, too!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely town Telluride must be. All those pretty flowers and the rock walls and the mountains make for very pretty photos.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to take an unplanned road trip - just head down the road toward the middle of the country that neither of us has visited. I think we need to mark Telluride as a stop.

Such a pretty town, and it looks like my kind of town. Doubt I'll ever be in Colorado though. So I enjoyed seeing it through you! Thanks for stopping by and saying how much you like my cottage gardens, it was really sweet. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous town, Nancy! My late beloved and I visited Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park and enjoyed that so much.
ReplyDeleteMy Husband and I were thrilled by the photos in your post! We have dreamed for years of flying to Norway, we just love the homes, mountains and scenery there. Telluride reminds me so much of Norway (the photos we have seen of Norway, anyway). I think a trip to Colorado would be much more realistic for us in these days and times. Thank you for sharing your delightful photos!
