Nancy's Notes Living~ Guest Bedrooms!

Well, It's that time again!

Nancy's Notes Living!
Guest Bedrooms~

Welcome!
I've decided to post some pictures of two guest bedrooms upstairs.
They are a work in progress!
I want these rooms to feel like an oasis for our guests.
I need wall art and other decor...
Warm it up a bit, maybe a vintage quilt or new fluffed up pillows for the beds, who knows!
When I'm out and about, I may find some treasures that will work for the room!
In an instant, I'll know it~

So come along with me!

I'm a tad bit crazy about this yellow door.
It's not mine, I just love it and wanted to share it!
Love the bit of whimsy to start out our short tour!

I found the photograph at the link below...
Link for yellow door~

 Let's head upstairs.
More about "The Cowboy" in that painting another time~

The bedrooms are just to the the right.

I'm just a bit over the moon about yellow and flowers.

I wish I could remember the name of this pattern! She ( the brain) fails me every now and then!
Did buy it at Tuesday morning a few years back!

I cherish this bedroom set, it was one of my mother's bedroom sets.
I love the headboard.

 Some treasures...

 Jack and Jill bathroom....

Love mixing the colors in each of the bedrooms...

 Soap box love....

I'd like to add more flowered art on the wall....
Coming soon!

Our granddaughter's call this their pink room!
The comforters are from Tommy Hilfiger Collection.
Reversible, awesome green stripes on the other side.
Fun to change it out.
I really must get the art on the walls. Have the art...just
at times decorating takes a back seat to life!

I love the chippy painted chair and polka dot table.

I think she's beautiful! I happen to love dolls too.
You can tell they are played with and have been,
goodness knows how long!

There are more.
 Baby dolls.
There are Barbie dolls,
Princesses. Fairies.
All in the toy closet with costumes
and you know, more stuff~
Not to mention the playroom!
Grandchildren rule our house!

Just thought I'd show you the third guest BR upstairs....it was featured awhile back!

I'll be back with more accessories, vignettes and maybe some wall art.
There's no end to what one can add! I like to change thing up too!
Maybe I'll feature the Game Room next time.
Not my office, it's in a state of shock.

Have a great day, friends!

  9. Nancy,

Our taste is so similar---pastels and florals and vintage! l love everything and again...we are both taking our time doing guest rooms. I have one here and then in the coming months, two at the lakehouse. I have been looking on Etsy for some vintage paintings. Have you checked that out at all for some of your pieces? I love your quilts---wow, you are inspiring!!! :)

  28. Nancy, I love your guest bedrooms. I wanted to come over when I had a bit more time to really browse through the rooms. The yellow bedspread is so cheerful, love that, and the headboard that belonged to your mother is gorgeous. I've been looking for something like that myself. What really caught my eye was the blue guest room. It's so warm, cozy, and lovely. And I see you have a collection of tea cups too. I'd love to see a close-up picture of them someday. wow, three guest bedrooms - that must be nice when family comes to stay.

I really enjoyed the pictures of all your guest rooms, Nancy; they are all so special in their own way.
