Why do I love them so? The beauty, the forever changing state. The yellow is so bright, the hues and tints, incredible, the sky is truly brilliant, it consumes my thoughts and feelings. I think of the heavens above. My sunsets take me to another place, I feel like I am in heaven, the day is done, the beauty of it all takes my breath away.
Hope you enjoyed my little slice of heaven.

I love sunsets and sunrises--it seems like creation is just shouting and singing with joy--kind of like Psalm 65:13 and Psalm 95:8

Oh, isn't God an exquisite painter?
ReplyDeleteEvery day He has a fresh canvas, and every day He paints something different and new--AMAZING!
I took some pictures (or rather, tried to, of a rainbow we had here last night before a storm--I think I captured, not only the sunset, but His promise.

Hi Nancy -
ReplyDeleteBeautiful phostos! I live in Idaho and we have some beautiful sunsets also. Sunday we had storm clouds and my son & I could see rays from the sun peeking out from behind one of the storm clouds....it was just at sunset and it was gorgeous. I tried to get a picture of it, but I wasn't able to do it justice.
Have a great day.
