Beautiful then and now:) It is nice when the Christmas decorations come down and we start the New Year! Have a blessed day dear Nancy, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing before and afters and both of yours look beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Nancy...I love how my house looks all dressed for Christmas but I also like starting fresh after taking everything down.
Always fun to have a fresh look after the Christmas stuff comes down.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy! Your home looks so pretty and I love your changes. Thanks for popping in to see me at Kiki's.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love your before and afters! Fun to see the changes. I love that grand piano too!
ReplyDeletei like your mantle bouquet.
ReplyDeleteOh that was fun, your decorating is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is that living room shot!
I miss being able to keep things so pretty but I have a little blessing here and she is so worth it!
Thanks for coming by,
Cindy
Hi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI love Before and After posts. Your home is so cozy and I love all the stockings hanging off the mantel!
I also have six granddaughters....What a hoot they are. We laugh together, travel together and cook together. Life is very Joyous.

Your home looks great with its winter decorations. My house always feels a bit naked after taking down the holiday decorations but it doesn't take me long to redecorate for the winter season and I am always pushing for Spring time! I am now following you on GFC. Thanks so much for your kind words on my blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you!
Your beautiful home is very inviting, warm and friendly. Both your Christmas decor, as well as the refreshed look are equally appealing to me, as red is my favourite colour and scaling things down after the holidays in itself, makes a space feel airy and light.
So glad we've connected. Have lovely day!

Hi Nancy! First time at your blog (I think), but I always make it a point to visit each and everyone who visits and comments on my blog posts. I absolutely agree -- love, love, love Christmas decor but also really love when it comes down. Your before and afters are wonderful! I tend to go for very calm and subdued for awhile after Christmas, except for a few Valentine items here and there. Here's to happy decorating, no matter what the season!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, fellow Texas girl!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely home you have. :) I like the before and after approach - sometimes it's hard to remember, so it's nice having the photos right there. I love those stacked boxes! I have a thing for boxes...and other things.

You have a beautiful home! Based on the amount of stockings you hung, you must have a very large family too.

ReplyDeleteI love your dining room table centerpiece.
Did you make it?
I was happy to put away Christmas decorations
and move on.
Thank you! No, did not make it. I bought it in Austin at Fancy Plants, a wonderful store that I just love!
DeleteI love your house...So pretty. I love to get Christmas decor down too, it seems as if the house is cleaner!

Love seeing the changes . . . Love the Christmas colors but "oh what a relief it is " with things put away and different colors arrive. Lovely Nancy . . .
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely home! It looks so warm and welcoming. I agree with you; I love the Christmas decorations, but I also love it when they're put away for another year. :) The house always looks more spacious when it's back to normal. I also love the season changes; it keeps things interesting and I think there is beauty to be found in every season.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for being a follower -- I'm following on your blog now too! Have a wonderful day, Nancy!

I know what you mean. Love the joy of Christmas but also love to get the decor gone. My tree takes all the light out of our sunny room.
ReplyDeleteI totally get that...I love putting Christmas decor up, but after a few weeks, I'm always ready to get back to my everyday decor. You have a gorgeous fireplace and mantel by the way!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I love them when they are up... but, when they are down, I love the more simple... less full. LOVED all those stockings on the mantle!! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteI agree...it's nice to give everything a good cleaning and freshen it up with different decor. I must admit, I dearly love all of your beautiful red candles though! And you have one of the prettiest banners in blogland! Sweet hugs! And thanks so much for the sweet birthday wishes! Warm hugs, Diane
