This is what I read this morning and it does make perfect sense.
I got "The call" yesterday and my very first appointment for a kidney transplant has been set. Gulp. Yes, I'm nervous and thankful at the same time.
Moving on....I've been busy with getting furniture for the new beach condo and that's kept my mind busy.
Today I'll just share some shots I think are interesting!
I've been known to stop where I am and get a picture, on the road, in a doctor's office, at a stop light, name it! So humor me and enjoy!
In a doctor's office, I was captivated by the brilliant colors!
The best butternut squash ever!
I grilled, yes me! The chicken was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised!
The zinnias peeking out, love them~
Last week! First dip in the pool! I did have the heater on and it was a pretty warm day here in Texas! Grandkids had a ball!
I just am in awe of how beautiful the landscaping is at so many shopping centers!
Livestock, Rodeo Time and 4-H time
Years and years ago.
That's ME.
My Grand Champion Chickens!
Just glorious!
Need to scoot~

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you move forward with the transplant process. My hubby deals with a lot of people that are going through the same thing.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are wonderful...and I think that first one of the aquarium is fantastic!!! xo Diana
Hope all goes well with your surgery! Sure love your photos so colorful and brilliant but my favorite are the grandkids in the pool!! There's nothing like being a grandma and your grandkids are going to have some wonderful memories of swimming in your pool!
ReplyDeleteLove the fishtank photos! And the rodeo one. Did you win those chickens or catch them?? :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the kidney news!!! Hope all goes well.
Love the fish pics. So pretty. Keeping good thoughts and prayers as you move forward for the transplant process. How fun for the grandkids to swim in the pool. Big Hugs Nancy.

Thinking of you with the kidney transplant, Nancy. My dear mother had kidney issues also. Love this picture of the fish tank - the fish are so colorful and beautiful. And that squash and grilled chicken look delicious. Oh my gosh, already in the pool in February? I enjoyed this post because "this and that" pictures are my favorite. : )
ReplyDeleteTake care, Nancy.
love, ~Sheri
Thinking about you, caring about your kidney transplant .
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear, yet thrilled for you and this possibility.
Look not far and you’ll find someone facing a battle you knew nothing about.
God’s Grace Nancy . . .
Cranking up the prayers🙏🏼 Love you❤️
ReplyDeleteNancy, best thoughts for your journey. I'm so sorry to hear but glad you will be OK soon..Happy Thursday..Judy
ReplyDeleteI love each and every photo, of course, but the best news is that you have a kidney set up and are on your way. That had to be such wonderful (even if a little scary) news. I'm so very happy for you with this. (And I love that goldfish photo!) Sending good thoughts your way. Please keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteI knew you had been away from blogging for a while due to some health issues...I guess it's been a while since I have visited. My prayers go out to you as you receive your new kidney and may your health be completely restored. I agree with the others...the aquarium photo is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...what great photos! I love taking pictures and have a very nice camera, but I only know how to point & shoot. I really need to learn how to use all those camera features! AND...I need to learn how to have better photos on my blog!!!! I didn't realize you were going to need a kidney transplant. Sure hope all goes well. Sending up a prayer for you:)
ReplyDeleteHello, Nancy! I enjoyed all your photos. Cute grandkiddies and you and your 4H chickens. Sending my prayers and well wishes, that all goes well with the transplant. Enjoy your day, have a happy new week!
ReplyDeleteI like the photo of you and your grand champion chickens, and the pretty camellia and am praying that your kidney transplant will be a great blessing for you.
ReplyDeleteNancy,
ReplyDeleteGoodness!
I had no idea about your Kidney transplant.
I am adding you to my personal prayer list, Nancy.
You will be lifted up, by name, each morning and evening.
Love, love, love seeing the grands in the pool.
Set your focus on higher things and savor the moments life brings our way.
Pat
Enjoyed all of your pictures Nancy. Oh I will pray for you dear one. I had no glue you needed a kidney transplant. I am so sorry to hear this. But...I sure do know a BIG GOD that knows it all. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteOh, Nancy, I'm been so busy I didn't know about your kidney transplant. Oh, bless you heart. Please know I'll be praying for you. I love seeing all of your pretty snaps of your grands. Take care my friend and I'm sorry we haven't gotten together yet. I had no idea we would be moving twice in six months.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Look at the way my buddy Wesley Virgin's adventure launches in this SHOCKING and controversial VIDEO.
ReplyDeleteWesley was in the military-and shortly after leaving-he found hidden, "MIND CONTROL" tactics that the government and others used to get whatever they want.
THESE are the EXACT same SECRETS many celebrities (especially those who "became famous out of nothing") and elite business people used to become rich and successful.
You probably know how you utilize only 10% of your brain.
Really, that's because most of your brain's power is UNCONSCIOUS.
Perhaps that expression has even occurred INSIDE OF YOUR very own head... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's head seven years ago, while driving an unlicensed, beat-up bucket of a car with a suspended license and with $3 on his bank card.
"I'm so frustrated with living paycheck to paycheck! Why can't I turn myself successful?"
You've been a part of those those thoughts, isn't it so?
Your own success story is waiting to start. All you have to do is in YOURSELF.
