Well, wouldn't you know???
Old Fred has a friend!
Another chomper and menace!
Look at this little guy Pete!
Looks full and in trouble, right?
Yep...
I didn't do it!
I didn't do it!
She's not watching...
Oh. what did I do?
She'll get over it!
She thinks I'm the cutest thing and even cuter than Fred!
Well, Fred was trying to humor me. Fred is nice at times.
Always has to eat first, rude.
Squirrels, who says they should go first?
Birds already have that down.
They are so uncharitable.
That was mouthwatering.
So many new tempting treats!
Wish she would bring me some savory carrots.
Jeepers! There she is.
She can't see me, I know it.
No binoculars in her hand.
Weird habit...
She'll have them in a second, that crazy lady always has them!
When she's not watching Fred, she's watching the birds.
Now, it's me again!
She really likes me and then she does not.
I don't get her at all...
When she has her coffee out here she is lovely. Then the binoculars come out.
Pfffttt!
I'll make my move and she won't notice.
She's a bit slow with her binoculars and now she has her camera!
Why does she love me so much?
I just dart back and forth and chomp on her delicious flowers!
Funny, I wonder why she loves me one day and then whistles like a crazy woman when I'm just eating a little...
I know she knows I knocked it over!
Now she has "him" watching me too!
He's not too fond of me.
I eat the bird food he puts out for "his birds!"
Oh well, I can't help it...it's the best ever!
The house next door has the bad stuff.
Did I tell you Fred broke the bird feeder?
Yep!
Thank the good wabbit!
They are gone!
They are off to watch that box in there...you know, they can't hear!
Seriously!
Ahhh. for now, serenity.
Ahhh. for now, serenity.
I can now finish this scrumptious begonia! I like them roasted, this heat is perfect.
Crispy little things.
Crispy little things.
Oh and no worries peeps, she goes to Home Depo daily! Always comes back with more treats.
Think she owns stock...
Crazy lady~
one day she loves me.....really.
Then, one day, not so much!
Thank goodness the crazy lady doesn't stew over this too long!
I'll tell you more about the crazy lady...so come back soon!
Hope I'm here!

Hello Nancy, I love this cute post and the Pete the bunny! He is adorable! Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI KNOW THAT THIEF! I KNOW HIM! teeehee....these little rascals are EVER so present in our yards, but they don't like our boxwoods or other evergreens! But the squirrels are another matter...oh Nancy, you have a POOLSIDE bunny!
ReplyDeleteAren't they a hoot to watch?
Great narration. Thanks for starting my day with a smile.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can see why critters like your backyard. It's green and lovely. They certainly must provide you great entertainment especially as you were recovering from your heart procedure. I'm hoping that I won't be taking after my dad's side of the family since every single one of his siblings had heart surgery. He had a triple bypass at the age of 45. Walking is my main form of exercise; 10 years ago I stopped eating meat;and 2 years ago gave up all dairy. I feel great and am hoping my lifestyle changes are enough to counteract heredity. :) Have a great day. Tammy
ReplyDeleteWho knew bunnies talked to themselves? Yours is quite full of himself. Lol!!
ReplyDeletethey sure can be a handful but they are sweet as pie!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, oh this was too cute and I enjoyed seeing this little sweetie by your pool. You captured great shots.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! cm
Oh I have CHOMPERS here too:) They are cute but can cause troubles! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteHello Nancy! Glad to visit from Good Fences link and what a treat to read your hilarious rabbit tale! Those pictures of him are the cutest and I don't think he's too scared of you at all!
ReplyDeleteJust became a follower and hope you can visit me at Christinejandhercamera.blogspot.com
Have a great day!
What a cutie and I liked your story!
ReplyDeleteThey are such scallywags and do a lot of damage to my shrubs over winter. I have to admit they are cute, just wish I could leave food out for them instead when the snow flies to preserve my plants.
ReplyDeleteNancy I truly enjoyed your story line with your fun photos. Mischievous but adorable bunnies. Thanks for the smile this delightful post put on my face.
ReplyDeletemade me laugh! they're in heaven at your place!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Cute little boogers! Sorry they are eating your flowers but looks like they might be some good entertainment! ;)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
HI Nancy I loved reading this post and looking at the photos to go along with the narrative. That's one smart Rabbit.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh this was just hilarious and so cute. - Love that little bunny, sorry about your planter. Oh yes there was a nice fence there too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute post! We have bunnies in our yard also and they are so sweet. We have been blessed that they just seem to want to eat the clover in the yard and nothing else.
ReplyDeletePete has a lot going on in his little mind. I wonder how he manage to top over that flower stand... it might have scared him himself. Or was that Fred?
ReplyDeleteCute little guy no matter what. Except when he nibbles on the flowers.
He's a cute little critter.. even if he was hungry and doing damage.
ReplyDeleteThis is GREAT! Just the chuckle I needed for the mid-day doldrums. Aloha
ReplyDeleteI had his cousin in my gardens this spring! He ate a bunch of things and I was ready to get tough with him but finally he seemed to disappear leaving half eaten plants behind. They are so cute but not when they're eating the plants! I wouldn't be surprised if a raccoon knocked the plant over. Sometimes fences work and sometines they don't!
ReplyDeleteha! If it's not rabbits it's squirrels or chipmunks! Squirrels broke one of my favorite pots, and they love to dig up my plants and make a huge dirt mess! Good thing nature made them so cute!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Oh, not the begonia too! I thought begonia was one that rabbits left alone! :)
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen a rabbit, but the squirrels and birds are plentiful in our garden. He is a cute little thing! ;-)
ReplyDeleteROFL!!!! You would have a hoot with the kittens here!
ReplyDeleteYou got some great photos my friend. Lots of fun going on at your house! heehee! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteActually, this cute little post says a lot - about you and your patience! Love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great story - you should do a book about your rabbit and other little animals - I loved the post.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Mary
Cute bunny shots!
ReplyDeleteI hope to see you at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/08/bennett-place-bit-of-history.html, and please join us each week for Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday)!
Oh my goodness, I haven't seen a bunny up close since we left Colorado. We had several on our property and I loved watching them play. They liked to eat the wildflowers in our yard. You got some good shots, Nancy. Your backyard is lovely. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving the nice words behind. Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteSuch a fine bunny-picture-story!
ReplyDelete~
Oh Nancy, what a delightful story, and to see this bunny in your own back yard had to make you happy. I can see you love nature as much as I do. And the pictures you took of this little guy are fantastic! I see these rabbits at a trail near my home, and I immediately get my camera out too hehehe. One thing is for sure, that bunny sure does love your home.
ReplyDelete~Sheri
That was so cute!!! There is a bunny living under the deck of our neighbors behind us and he is adorable. So far he hasn't been nibbling on anything that we can tell!!! He must eat at the neighbors:):) Have a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteYou got some great shots while patiently watching..I'm afraid I would be hollering at him to shoo away from my flowers. We don't have many rabbits around here...mostly pesky armadillos. :(
ReplyDeleteCute post! You know, I have not seen many bunnies around here....TONS and TONS of ornery squirrels! We have one that keeps chewing on the corner up underneath our back deck....sounds like he's inside the wall! Every time we hear the noise I go out and watch him leave from under the deck....and the noise leaves with him! We may just be having squirrel stew around here soon.......NOT! Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteOh my Nancy, this is such a cute bunny and great story. I love it! When I was a child I had a bunny bushy tail as a pet until he grew and did chew on everything, then one day it disappeared and dad had given him away...found out many years later in life, lol.. I did cry, though.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
FABBY
Too cute Nancy! I had pet bunnies as a teen so I loved this. I totally understand the love hate thing. :) I have that with the deer that come around our yard. They are so gorgeous and I love seeing them, just wish they didn't have to eat. ha, ha!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Funny! Made me smile!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Nancy! Thanks so much for linking up and sharing your cute bunny! Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHa! Fun photos of the cute but rascally bunny!
ReplyDeleteThey are so sweet. We have them too and it is a bit annoying but I keep telling myself they have to eat too. I do enjoy all the critters, they can be amusing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Blessings,
Cindy
Hi Nancy, such a cute post with the cute wabbit! Love the story and photos. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteNancy,
ReplyDeleteToo stinkin' cute!!!
We have about 5, or maybe 6, resident rabbits here on the Prairie!!!
We've named everyone, but the Teeny Tinies are growing as large as Cutie Patootie
that I can't tell which one is Pee Wee or Foo Foo!!!
Thanks for sharing your dilemma!!!
None of them will eat my begonias!!!
But, yes. . .we've spent many $$$ at the Lawn Centers this year, too!!!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!!!
Fondly,
Pat
What sweet little rabbits, the cats seem to keep ours at bay....
ReplyDelete~Jo
We have many rabbit friends in our backyard too, Nancy! I had to raise all my flower pots up high, so they can't reach them, but they do like to munch on our lawn They have to be quick as the resident fox likes them for dinner. We have a real busy food chain going on here!
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute! I know they eat everything but I still love them.
