Do you ever want to get out alone and just hit some antique shops?
I know some of you may know that feeling...
Late yesterday afternoon was that day for me, out looking for little sweet treasures.
Teacups and pitchers are my weakness...well, anything little and with lots of flowers.
Here's one of my new treasures!
Funny how a sweet little pitcher can make one's heart go pitter patter-
It's the little things...
I just love her, she's adorable.
She? What's up with that?
Love how she posed for me too!
Oh good grief, just noticed a shadow!
That's okay, no way I'll get her to pose again!
She was a bit of a pill this morning, I know it's not happening again.
Especially at dark-thirty!
Don't you just love her?
Promise, she really is sweet after her cream, coffee and lots of sugar!

'she' is beautiful! i have one quite similar to her. mine is green with roses on it and gold trim. it was a gift many years ago in another lifetime. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is the little things - I bought a new coffee mug and it is amazing how happy that makes me :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice one, Nancy. I want to go out, but it is just so gray and cold.

ReplyDeletewe are having a sandstorm here today so I don't want to get out for ANYthing...
Love the pitcher and yes she is adorable and striked up a pose for you! I love treasure hunting alone to be honest. I can take my time, not be rushed and enjoy the moment! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

ReplyDeleteWith those lines your pretty little pitcher is definitely a she lol. Thanks so much for visiting.
ReplyDeleteShe is very sweet, and yes, definitely a she!! As in like human...not male. ha!
ReplyDeleteI am without a car still, I imagine we have another 3 weeks without the threat of snow when hubby can get back to driving his sports car. I almost took it out the other day but the tires are known to go flat after sitting for months in the garage and I didn't want that to happen. So seriously...winter weather aside...I need to get OUT!!! Take me with you next time. I'll fly to you!! ;-)
XO,
Jane

ReplyDeleteDo you have three more pitchers? I once did a Note Card Party based on my favorite creamers...that was fun. This is a beautiful photo and I'd love to see more!

What a special find...and she does pose nicely. I too have a cream and sugar similar and never thought of having them pose for Note Card Party... Thanks for the idea. Maybe April will be a good month to do that.
