Time's up!

This is another one of those wonders...

Why am I crazed half the time?

I was told that I have to slow down.
How?

The older I get, the less time I seem to have...

I talk to friends, they feel the same way.
Humm...

Time-
All I know is that I never seem to have enough of it.

No, it's not disorganization. Or is it?
I'll ponder that thought.

I've learned something from the grandchildren-

Just pretend.
It's true!

I pretended that my laundry was done.
I pretended the grocery shopping was done.
I pretended my errands were done.

I love pretending!

Ha, it only took me two laundry loads to decide, the heck with it and start this pretending thing.
My subconscious kicked in and made it so!

I decided to play.

I went outside and decided to wrap myself in the glory of it being another scorcher of a day...

I pretended it was cool and in the mid 70's...

Here's what I saw through my trusty little Cannon-

The yellow in this hibiscus bloom is the sunlight shining through it...

Is that not a pretty blue sky behind the yellow bells? Oh, I'm in love with the yellow against that sky blue.

Sparkling pool water...ahh

Faithful Lantana~

Love the rich green and bright yellow again...

Moss rose, or is it rose moss? It does not like it this hot. I like the part at the top against the amazing sky!

Hibiscus bush is thriving! Guess how tall it is?

I admit, forgot what kind of plant this gorgeous orange bloom is from, any thoughts?

Oh my, this little periwinkle is showing off! What a dazzling color!

Time's up!

Blog and go!

  3. The periwinkle is my favorite. My garden is fading fast but thankfully we finally have rain. Now that I am retired I am very busy too and I ask myself the very same questions.

  6. I never have enough time either-even with planning and re-planning- I come up short of time. Your flowers are beautiful. Ours are mostly done now. I don't know what the orange one is either-but it is a Fallish looking bloom, isn't it? Hope you have time for a nice cool drink before you get back to laundry! xo Diana

  15. Hello, Nancy
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
Your garden is still so colourful.
As for thoughts on time, part of my problem is just a wee bit of procrastination every now and again(and again). Pretending hasn't got the hall and stairwell painted, oddly enough. :)

I've got to close mind down. It's been to cool to 'dip' since Labor Day but I always think I'll warm up and I'll get one last swim in.

God bless and have a terrific Thursday sweetie!!!

  21. I do believe that gorgeous orange blossom is Plumeria (Frangipani)! I've never seen it in that color before, wow. I love Lantana, too :) I've never seen Yellow Bells before, either...how pretty they are.
