Hi Nancy, Love your tablescape, very Mediterranean, my daughter has the same Mikasa China. The sunflowers are perfect and the menu sounds fabulous, especially that chocolate sumpin'! Hope you're having a great week!

The menu sounds delightful and your table is gorgeous. I love your china. Such a beautiful pattern. YOur stems and the sunflowers are the perfect color splashes to go with everything. So pretty and inviting. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteNancy, your table is beautiful and the menus sounds so good to me. All I have had for days now is junk food. Ready for a good meal. When do we eat??
ReplyDeleteEvery detail is absolutely beautiful-wish I could come steal it away for a day 8-) but maybe I can recreate with my own touches.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely evening!

Hi, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comments on my blog post - I couldn't find an email for you so here I am being "forced" to visit YOUR blog, fall in love with it and FOLLOW you! Poor me:)
I love your header w/ your wallpaper and then your tablescape - you have a thing for sunflowers, it seems. And, it's all gorgeous! Thanks for sharing such a beautiful tablescape for a special birthday - my b'day is September 1st. Thought you might want to make a note of it.
Also, and this is actually important and serious unlike me telling you my birth date!
It doesn't appear that you are so much into the "art" word in the usual sense, but cooking, baking and tablescapes are certainly art in my book...
have you heard of the Paper Cowgirl Art Retreat in June in Waxahachie? A lot of Texans and some visitors from other states, attend and it is a delightful time of classes (OF YOUR CHOICE), food, friendships new and old, and food, of course.
I invite you to visit www.papercowgirl.blogspot.com and check it out. Perhaps you might like to join us!
My email is polkadotbarn@gmail.com if you've any questions or comments - I'd love for you to come - you and I are almost neighbors - our place is outside of Kerrville.
Be blessed, Jan
crabcakes, asparagus and chocolate...that is just about the perfect meal! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tables setting and pictures. My youngest son is in culinary school and his last big dinner was 'southern style'. It was awesome, of course! :-)
ReplyDeleteI Loved your bio, so I just have to follow you!
Hugs,
Coreen

ReplyDeleteHi Nancy! I thank you for leaving such a sweet comment on the baby (Yorkie) that showed up at our house. I'm so glad that I found her parents before leaving for Houston! Whew! You have a pretty and fresh looking blog. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Sandra
You sure have set a lovely table here, Nancy! I love the mosaic patterned china; it looks so pretty on the table mats. And of course, you have to have the sunflowers to complete the provencal look! I appreciate your coming by to visit and leaving such a nice comment. It is such fun to meet new friends when we join up for these themed parties, isn't it?
ReplyDelete:-) Sue
Nancy, this was a lovely post. Your table and your menu would make a stranger feel at home. There is always such a graceful note to your posts. I love to visit here. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteNancy, I hadn't been by to see you in awhile & thought I would pop in. LOVE CRABCAKES! Do you have a good reciepe for them? YUM! I know everyone had a great time at the party. Charlene
ReplyDeleteOh, I just read another comment & you don't live too far from me either. It would be great if you come to Paper Cowgirls. I'll be there too. Let me know if your coming so we are sure to hook up.
