I think...tablescaping, how fun and it's such a simple pleasure.
I think...roaming around in an antique store is delightful.
I think...it's all about savoring the simple beauty of being alive.
I think...having a platform to do what I want to do is awesome.
I think...if I enjoy tablescaping that is what I'll blog about today!
I think... let's have fun with my vintage and antique plates.
Oh my....shhh...I forgot the silverware!
Oh well...that's okay, not having dinner anyway!
Do you ever play and set a table just for for the fun of blogging?
Please say you do....if not I'll get an appointment right away with a blogging doctor. I might have a blogging disorder!
Have a great day!
I'm planning to party...come too!

Like being a little girl hosting a tea party.
Enjoy Nancy..whatever brings you joy..plus we get to see:)
Hello, Nancy! Your plates are lovely. Beautiful tablescape! I am glad you are having fun! Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteNancy, I have done very few tablescapes just for the fun of it and I'm not sure why. We have lots of dishes and fun things to play with here at our house. :)
ReplyDeleteIf playing with dishes is a blogging disorder then you are in great company.
Oh dear I bought the rose with gold band dishes around 1954 for my hope chest.
ReplyDeleteThey sold as I remember for around $50 a set. Husband and I were married the following year. The marriage lasted but not the dishes. Thanks for the memory.
Nancy what a pretty collection of plates you have!
ReplyDeleteWow, Nancy, those are beautiful dishes. and I love your dining room. My first set of dishes were those melmac things. My daughter still has one of those old plates. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteNancy, I am thrilled that we share the tablescaping syndrome! Love all your beautiful plates and your stunning dining room!

Put the silverware on the table and I'll be right over:) Beautiful and YES I do it too! Have a blessed day dear Nancy, BIG HUGS!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I contribute to the meal? I found your blog through Penny's Vintage Home and am your newest Pinterest follower. It would take days to go through all your interesting boards. xo
ReplyDeleteOh Nancy, I have truly enjoyed this post so much. Makes me smile and giggle! The little girls in us is what I love! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYour plates are so lovely. Each one is it's own piece of art and your dining room is so pretty. I usually do a tables cape when I'm having guests over, but I know plenty of bloggers who do it just for a post, and some people leave a pretty tables cape set up all the time. Just enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea..Love your post and your plates are gorgeous...Have a fun day..
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy! Oh, what lovely olden dishes! I just love your pretty tablescape in your beautiful dining room! Yes, I used to play with my dishes a lot. I need to start doing it again! Thanks for popping in to see me.

ReplyDeleteYou also have a mighty handsome sweetie....you can tell him that but don't tell him how olden I am..let him think it's a young girl...hahhaa....
You play all you want with your pretty dishes, Nancy! I love settin up vignettes with my pretty things...kinda like playing house!
ReplyDeleteIf I had pretty dishes like you do, perhaps I would dress my table just for the sake of it!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most creative way of sharing your ideas my friend. I love your I think statements.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to play with our tings?
You do it beautifully!
I love your "I think's" on here today, Nancy. And your dining room table is so charming. I've never seen a table this long before. You were missed, my friend. So glad you're back. :)

You set a beautiful table and I have created tea tables many times for blogging parties. It can be fun but even better when friends come to enjoy all the work you did to make a special presentation.
ReplyDeleteI am frantically cooking for dinner for 10 tonight. It was dinner for 12 until 8 this morning when one couple called, ill with the flu. I had set the tables last night and had to adjust this morning - not a happy hostess here!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason your posts, while still in my reading list, aren't showing up. I can see that you've posted again but it is not coming in for me without me going to find it - if you get my drift. Blogger is sometimes uncooperative!
