My home... and more.

Good Morning out there!

I'm sitting here having a cup of coffee.

I'm sitting here reading your posts.

I'm sitting here reading looking at a new book.

It's called Organized Now~

I'm thinking I should be getting my home organized.

I think about it daily often.

While I was wondering around Home Depo looking for things that I really stuff needed...for the house, yard etc. I whirled around and almost knocked someone over walked back to that section where the magazines and books are parked in the store.

The book really caught my eye.

I picked up the book.

It looked great....so, it's now in the basket with all of my other stuff necessary things.

I'll admit, I've only read the outer cover-

Yes, yes, I so know...
Clutter has a cost.
It steals your storage space.
Robs your time.
Yada, Yada, Yada.
Takes away the peace and beauty of your home.
Yes, it's practical advice, but

get this.

I'm suppose to organize my mind FIRST.
My mind...that will take some time.

Will go sit and organize my mind...

and have another cuppa.

Now really, is your mind organized?? I was trying to get my home organized and now, it's my mind that has to be organized first.

Who knew?

  2. Oh, I think my mind is a lost cause. But now I know why I struggle with clutter and organize. It's my hopeless mind. I came home from vacation with a renewed energy to de-clutter, but soon settled into the struggle again. So Thank You, for enlightening me that my mind is the problem, LOL!

  9. I am real good at sitting and thinking about getting organized, but it never happens. I guess now I can sit and worry about organizing my mind- I tell you what I should be doing while sitting-writing a book to tell somebody else how to do it-make lots of money of off said book and then hire someone to organize my house!!!

  11. Hi Nancy! I don't know if I can get my brain organized. It's always going off on rabbit trails! :) I love to look at the kinds of books too. Sometimes I even do a couple of things they suggest! I've been trying to get a little organized too. Now that you're going to have everything so spiffed up, would you come to my Heart of the Home Party - Show us your favorite cupboard? I would love it. You can find out about it by clicking on the little button on my side bar.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  15. Clutter is apparently inherently evil says "the experts" but I enjoy my stuff. Yes, I need to toss and donate some of it from time to time but minimalism will never be me. Plus I totally live in my head and uncluttering it would be a hoot!

  17. Nancy, you are too funny. I really need to organize. I am not an organized person and just don't look behind close doors around here. Could be dangerous!

  18. Now when you get that done... tell me how you did it!

  20. Hi Nancy! Visiting you from Kathy's Celebrate Spring party and got a good chuckle from your post! I don't journal much in a formal fashion, but I do make tons of notes ... they could use some organizing, too! Hope you are enjoying a great beginning to Spring! Bess

  21. That's a sweet organiser and in eco-green too! Relaxation and meditation are some ways we can get our mind organised.
